Introducing a Christ-Aligned Health & Fitness Community

Are you seeking guidance for your health, but want to be discerning about where you are getting information?

Do you strive to be healthy, but are overwhelmed by the abundance of conflicting advice circling in your communities?

Do you struggle with a consistent workout program or consistent meal planning? 

Do you already work with a doctor, but just need to better understand your lab work, and what steps to take moving forward?

After 6 years practicing naturopathic medicine, I noticed that many women tend to gravitate toward a natural and healthy lifestyle, and are very well-versed in health and wellness. I created AlignFit to help fill in some of the missing gaps when it comes to areas to support your health journey and lifestyle.

I have been working in health & fitness in some capacity for about 25 years. I started my career as a physical therapy aide, worked in cardiac rehab and employee wellness, was a spin and step-aerobics instructor, worked with orthopedic patients post-rehab, was a personal trainer, cross-country coach, helped Microsoft employees be healthy in their workstation, raced mountain bikes, and competed in XTERRA triathlons. I went back to school to become a naturopathic doctor in 2013 and have been practicing medicine since 2018.

I have been through all the fads, I have seen what works and what doesn't. I want you to know the truth about how to become your healthiest self, without all the deception.

YOU ARE BUSY . . .

And can only allocate so much time and resources to your health. This is why I will aim to release bite-sized videos to help you identify your next steps when it comes to nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle.

 

I will be providing you with biweekly meal plans, monthly fitness videos (for different levels), and weekly 20-minute videos on key health & fitness topics that you can apply to your life (blood work, supplements, nutrition, etc.). There will be options for ordering your own lab work, understanding what it actually means, and learning the steps to take action.

  • How can we take the best care of our bodies in this fallen world?

  • How can I lose weight without food becoming an idol?

  • Why can't I harness self-control? Is taking care of my body selfish?

  • How can I find the time to care for myself? 

 

My intention for this program is to provide consistent content that you will find to be an indispensable ally in your journey toward improved health and fitness.

 

I want to infuse some of the knowledge and wisdom I have gained over the years into you, so that you can be your healthiest self, which would allow you to bring your best when you are serving the Lord.

At this time AlignFit is a free community. There may be paid offerings in the future.

Whether you want to get in great shape, eat healthier, lose some weight, prevent accelerated aging, or just geek out and learn a ton, I think you'll love what is in store!
